The Blackhawks recalled forward John Quenneville from the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL on Sunday morning. The team did not announce a corresponding roster move.
Quenneville has eight goals and 13 points in 19 games this season, including eight points (four goals, four assists) in his past five games. The 23-year-old missed part of training camp with a hip injury then in the fourth game of the AHL season he sustained a right shoulder injury that caused him to miss nine games and almost a month of play.
The Blackhawks acquired Quenneville on June 22 from the Devils in exchange for forward John Hayden.
