The Chicago Blackhawks reassigned forward Brandon Mashinter and defenseman Cameron Schilling to AHL Rockford, and released forward Daniel Paille, the team announced Monday.

Mashinter, 27, tallied 32 points (17 goals, 15 assists) in 69 regular-season for Rockford last season. The 26-year-old Schilling was acquired by the Blackhawks in July on a two-year deal. He recorded 18 points (3G, 15A) in 63 regular-season games with the Washington Capitals' AHL affiliate Hershey. He also appeared in four games with the Capitals.

Paille, 31, spent the past five-plus seasons as a member of the Boston Bruins.
