The Blackhawks will be bringing back two of their most veteran players next season as they announced one-year contract extensions for defenseman Michal Rozsival and forward Jordin Tootoo on Tuesday.
Rozsival, 38, has been with the Blackhawks the past five seasons. He had signed a one-year deal prior to the season. He has one goal, one assist and has averaged 15:15 of ice time in 15 games this season. He’s often been a healthy scratch this season.
Rozsival recently said he was unsure what he would be doing next season and thought his career was winding down.
