Chicago Blackhawks prospects Dennis Gilbert and Anthony Louis are ranked No. 71 and No. 77, respectively in SB Nation College Hockey's 2016 Top 100 NHL Prospects list.
Gilbert, a third-round pick in the 2015 draft, has two goals and 10 points in his freshman season for Notre Dame. The left-handed shooting defenseman posted 27 points in 59 games for the Chicago Steel of the USHL last season. His uncle, Mike, is the vice president of public and community relations for the Buffalo Sabres.
A year after being drafted by the Blackhawks, Gilbert has immediately stepped into Notre Dame's line-up and been a strong, consistent player.
