Blackhawks forward prospect Tim Söderlund and Frölunda Hockey Club reached a settlement Wednesday, and he will leave the club for Skellefteå AIK.
Söderlund, who was drafted in the fourth round in 2017 by Chicago, scored three goals with two assists in 26 games for Frölunda HC in the Swedish Hockey League. The 5-foot-9, 163-pound winger joined the Swedish powerhouse in a trade after scoring 14 points (nine goals, five assists) in 43 regular-season games for Skellefteå AIK in his first full SHL season. He added four playoff goals before Skellefteå AIK was swept in the final by the Växjö Lakers.
