The European players headline this latest check-in on Blackhawks prospects around the hockey world.
Blackhawks 2020 first round pick Lukas Reichel continued to impress with Eisbären Berlin, which ended the season Friday as DEL champions. Despite being drafted as a winger, the 18-year-old was moved to center in mid-January and spent the rest of the season there — including the playoffs, when he fluctuated between the top two lines. Reichel is likely more suited for wing in the NHL, but his newfound versatility is extremely useful.
Reichel finished with 27 points (10 G, 17 A) in 38 points in the regular season and five points (2 G, 3 A) in nine games in the playoffs.
