Chicago Blackhawks prospect John Dahlström was selected with the No. 76 overall pick in the second round by the Medicine Hat Tigers in the 2016 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft on Tuesday.
Dahlström, 19, was selected by the Hawks with the final pick of the 2015 NHL Draft. The 6-foot-1, 187-pound winger scored 21 goals and 35 points in 38 games for Frölunda HC J20 in Sweden. The season before he led the same league with 20 goals in 28 games.
Dahlström has also represented Sweden at the international level at the World Junior Championships and the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament.
