The Chicago Blackhawks wrapped up another prospect camp last week. Here’s a look back at who impressed the most:
Vinnie Hinostroza, forward: Hinostroza took the first step towards earning an NHL roster spot. He displayed his speed and offensive ability throughout the camp. He scored two goals during the lone scrimmage for entry-level contracts on Friday. Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville was particularly impressed, which could a go long way. As one Blackhawks scout pointed out, “His shot and accuracy have improved a lot.”
“I thought Vinnie really jumped out this week,” Quenneville said. “I thought he had a real good week.
