Chicago Blackhawks Russian forward prospect Artur Kayumov will be out until late November after he suffered a broken collarbone Oct. 9 against CSKA, according to Russian news outlet R-Sport.
The injury occurred when CSKA forward Greg Scott checked Kayumov, who plays for Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in the KHL, into the boards. The 19-year-old winger has been placed on injured reserve until Nov. 20.
Kayumov, who was selected with the No. 50 overall pick in the second round of the 2016 NHL draft by Chicago, will miss the CIBC Canada-Russia Series due to the injury.
