Blackhawks winger Patrick Kane assisted on Jonathan Toews’ goal in the first period against the Canucks on Monday at the United Center to reach the 100-point mark in only his 70th game this season.
It’s the second time he has scored 100 points in a season during his NHL career. He set a career high with 106 points during the 2015-16 season, when he won the Hart Trophy as the league MVP and Art Ross Trophy as the league’s top scorer.
Kane is the third player in Blackhawks franchise history to have at least two 100-point seasons, joining Jeremy Roenick and Denis Savard.
