Blackhawks winger Patrick Kane was named one of three finalists for the Ted Lindsay Award as “the most outstanding player in the NHL,” as voted by fellow NHL Players Association members Thursday. Lightning winger Nikita Kucherov and Oilers winger Connor McDavid were also named finalists.
Kane, 30, tallied a career-high 66 assists and 110 points in 81 games this past season. His 110 points were third to Kucherov (128) and McDavid (116). Both Kucherov and McDavid scored 41 goals, while Kane had 44.
