ST. LOUIS — Ryan Hartman only remembers one thing about the 2009 Winter Classic at Wrigley Field.
“Yeah, just it being really, really cold,” Hartman said.
It was about 20 degrees without the wind chill that day. Hartman, who was 15 and lived in suburban West Dundee, was given two tickets by his father to see his favorite team, the Blackhawks, face the Detroit Red Wings at Wrigley Field.
“That was cool,” Hartman said on Saturday. "It was cold. I don’t remember what the temperature was exactly, but it was freezing. I went with one of my friends.
