The Penn State top-line center scooped up the puck below the goal line, tossed it into the air and backhanded it into the net that landed at No. 9 on ESPN’s “SportsCenter” Top 10 plays. He also had an assist, blocked one shot and was 35 percent (7-for-20) on faceoffs in the 6-4 win over Michigan State. He had four shots on goal, was 40 percent (4-for-10) and was on ice for both goals in a 2-0 loss to start the weekend.
