Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Michal Rozsival will not face a suspension for his hit against Minnesota Wild forward Jason Zucker during Sunday's Stadium Series game at TCF Bank Stadium, reports Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune.
Late in the second period, the 37-year-old defenseman lined up Zucker for the hit. Zucker, meanwhile, was trying to gather the puck in before losing control. As Zucker lifted his head up, Rozsival's right shoulder hit him and Zucker's head bounced off the ice.
The Wild forward remained on the ice for several minutes while receiving medical attention from Minnesota's medical staff.
