Marcus Kruger will not play for the Blackhawks on Saturday against the Flyers due to a left leg injury, the team announced Friday. He will also remain in Chicago and not travel with the team to Philadelphia.
Kruger suffered the injury when he was tripped by the Hurricanes’ Clark Bishop while driving to the net in the second period of Thursday’s game. Kruger skated off the ice under his own power, but was clearly in pain while doing so. He did not return to play the third period.
