The Blackhawks are making forwards Marcus Kruger, Chris Kunitz and Andreas Martinsen in trade discussion, reports Scott Powers of The Athletic.
As Powers notes, Kruger’s modified no-trade clause includes seven teams he can’t be traded to. Those seven teams are not known. Kunitz, however, has a full no-movement clause and he would have to waive it to be shipped out of Chicago.
Kruger has four goals and seven points in 42 games this season as a bottom-six center. Chicago re-acquired the 28-year-old last July in a seven-player trade with Arizona.
