Freddy Olofsson felt like he was back home with so many Swedish players at the Chicago Blackhawks prospect camp.
Olofsson doesn’t get the chance to interact with his fellow Swedes as much as he once did. He was born in Sweden, spent most of his childhood there, bounced around a few different countries due to his dad’s work and ended up in Colorado about six years ago. The United States has been his home ever since.
In that time, Olofsson’s accent has been watered down. He doesn’t have an American accent, but it’s not exactly Swedish either.
