The Chicago Blackhawks travel to Edmonton to take on the Oilers in their second game in as many days. The Blackhawks fell 5-2 to the Vancouver Canucks Thursday evening, and will look to rebound at Rogers Place Friday night.
The Hawks and Oilers have met just once so far this season, which saw Edmonton skate away with a 2-1 overtime victory in Chicago.
Edmonton is coming off of a 4-3 loss to the Winnipeg Jets, and with Vancouver’s win over the Hawks Thursday, the Oilers now sit in 7th in the Pacific Division with a 17-18-2 record.
