The 40-year-old veteran told reporters after Wednesday's morning skate, he will play in Game 4 when the Chicago Blackhawks host the Tampa Bay Lightning at the United Center. Timonen last played in Game 5 of the Western Conference Final.
Hawks coach Joel Quenneville confirmed Timonen's statement when he met with reporters.
