The Blackhawks head coach says the league thought Brandon Mashinter should have been credited with a goal.
Chicago Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville says he spoke with the NHL about Brandon Mashinter's overturned goal in Tuesday's game, and the league told him they did not agree with the decision, reports Chicago Sun Times' Mark Lazerus.
For the second time in three games, the Hawks had a goal disallowed after a coach's challenge. After earning a penalty for screaming in an official's face over a disallowed goal call in Arizona, Quenneville was on the wrong end of another disallowed goal Tuesday in a 2-0 home loss against the San Jose Sharks.
