The Blackhawks complete three preseason games in as many nights Wednesday when they host the Red Wings at the United Center.
Chicago is 0-2 after dropping back-to-back games in Washington, 4-3, and Detroit, 5-3, the past two days. The Blackhawks allowed at least four goals and one power-play tally in each game with a mix of NHL and AHL players.
Coach Jeremy Colliton will use a more NHL-caliber lineup Wednesday with Patrick Kane, Duncan Keith and Jonathan Toews among others. Corey Crawford is expected to start in net and play the entire game.
