Blackhawks host "Hockey Fights Cancer Night" on Wednesday

The Chicago Blackhawks will host “Hockey Fights Cancer Night” at the United Center on Wednesday, Nov. 4, when the team faces off against the St. Louis Blues. In support of cancer awareness, Blackhawks players will wear one-of-a-kind warm-up jerseys (pictured above), while coaches and broadcasters will wear lavender ties. Each warm-up jersey will be auctioned off online, in addition to the ties worn by coaches, broadcasters and players, which will be accompanied by an autographed photo.

During warmups, the Blackhawks will wear purple jerseys with lavender lettering to raise cancer awareness; each jersey will be autographed by the player who wore it.
