Blackhawks' Hossa supports "Rainbow for Ivanka"

The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that forward Marian Hossa has lent his support to “Rainbow for Ivanka” to help raise money and awareness for Ivanka Danisova, who was born as a triplet in Bratislava, Slovakia, with Goldenhar syndrome, a rare congenital defect.

Danisova, 27, has cardiac arrhythmia and deformation on the right side of her face, due to underdeveloped cranial bones; she has already had four cardiac catheterizations, overcome Leukemia and undergone a 14-hour craniofacial operation this past April. Danisova is scheduled to have a second and final operation this fall in the United States, but still needs to raise $100,000 for the surgery.
