Blackhawks hope to falter Jets on April Fool’s Day

After getting swept by the Kings, the Blackhawks will look to avoid the same fate against the Jets. The Blackhawks are 0-2-1 this season against Winnipeg, and will look to get their first win Monday at the United Center.

In the first three games of the season series, the Blackhawks lost 6-5 on Nov. 29, 6-3 on Dec. 11 and 4-3 in overtime on Dec. 14.

Chicago is coming off a 3-2 overtime loss against the Kings on Saturday in a game where they had a 2-1 lead. Alex DeBrincat scored his 41st goal this season — tying Patrick Kane for the team lead — and Erik Gustafsson netted his 17th goal of the season.
