Blackhawks hold off Maple Leafs for 4th straight win

The Blackhawks exploded out of the gate with four goals in the first period before holding off a furious really by the Maple Leafs for a 5-4 win Wednesday at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

Brendan Perlini scored his seventh goal in his last six games and added two assists for Chicago, who won its fourth straight and is now four points out of the second wild-card spot in the Western Conference with 71 points. Brandon Saad had a goal and an assist and Dylan Strome had two helpers.
