The luck of the Irish wasn’t on the Blackhawks’ side Tuesday afternoon as they fell 4-2 to the Bruins at Notre Dame Stadium to remain winless in Winter Classic games.
Sean Kuraly scored the go-ahead goal on a rebound at 10:20 of the third period and Brad Marchand added an empty-net goal with 32.8 seconds left for Boston.
David Pastrnak and Patrice Bergeron also scored for the Bruins, who improve to 2-1 in Winter Classic games. Boston defeated the Flyers in overtime in the 2010 edition at Fenway Park and fell to the Canadiens in 2016 at Gillette Stadium.
