Blackhawks’ Corey Crawford suffers groin injury, Kevin Lankinen recalled from AHL

Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford left Friday’s game against the Stars in the second period with a groin injury and will be out for the Blackhawks’ season finale Saturday against the Predators in Nashville.

Crawford appeared to suffer the injury in the first period when he made a save by going post-to-post. He got up slowly and was favoring his right leg. He returned for the second period, but was pulled for Cam Ward before the midway point. The team doesn’t anticipate Crawford’s injury to be serious.
