Brandon Saad will not play for the Blackhawks against the Flyers on Saturday in Philadelphia due to a right arm injury, the Blackhawks announced prior to the game.

It will be the first game of the season Saad will not play in. He has four goals and four assists in 16 games this season. The 26-year-old winger has found success offensively as of late with at least a point in three of his last four games.

Saad has played at left wing on the third line with David Kampf and rookie Alexandre Fortin.
