Tuesday morning, the Blackhawks announced that forwards Jonathan Toews and Henrik Borgström has been placed in COVID-19 Protocols, which means that they will be unable to travel, practice or play games until they have cleared those protocols.
Forwards Patrick Kane and Jujhar Khaira, defenseman Riley Stillman, and assistant coaches Marc Crawford, Tomas Mitell, and Jimmy Waite are also all still in COVID-Protocol.
At practice, Caleb Jones and Wyatt Kalynuk were back on the ice skating for the first time since they were both injured during training camp.
Encouraging sign: Caleb Jones (wrist) and Wyatt Kalynuk (ankle) are skating on the second rink before practice.
