Artemi Panarin scored his first career NHL goal and Teuvo Teravainen recorded his first of the season, but the Blackhawks lost 3-2 to the New York Rangers on Wednesday night.
The Blackhawks had one final celebration of their 2015 Stanley Cup victory, raising their sixth Cup banner into the rafters. After that, it was back to business and adjustments for a team that has some to make.

Panarin, playing in his first NHL game after just getting one preseason contest – an upper-body injury sidelined him nearly two weeks – looked ready for this one.
