Chicago Blackhawks forward Artemi Panarin left the World Championship with yet another medal Sunday.
The 25-year-old won the bronze medal with Russia after a 5-3 win over Finland at Lanxness Arena in Cologne, Germany. It’s the second straight year Panarin has claimed bronze at the World Championship. He also won silver at the 2015 Worlds.
Panarin scored a tournament-high 17 points and 13 assists, including one in the win over Finland, prior to the gold-medal game between Canada and Sweden.
It’s the second straight year he has finished in the top 3 in scoring at Worlds.
