Blackhawks’ Alex DeBrincat scores his 100th career NHL point

Blackhawks winger Alex DeBrincat scored his 100th career point with an assist Tuesday night against the Oilers at Rogers Place in Edmonton.

DeBrincat had a secondary helper on Dylan Strome’s goal in the third period to reach the milestone. The 21-year-old DeBrincat reached the mark in his 136th career game, which is faster than both Bobby Hull (141) and the late Stan Mikita (159).

DeBrincat, 21, is the first player drafted outside of the first round from the 2016 NHL draft class to reach the century mark.
