The Blackhawks have agreed to terms with prospect Dominik Kubalik, reports Igor Eronko of Sport-Express.
Chicago acquired the 23-year-old Kubalik in a trade with the Kings in January for a fifth-round draft pick in this year’s NHL draft. Los Angeles drafted him in the seventh round in 2013, and offered him a contract as recently as October 2017 but he never signed it.
The 6-foot-2, 179-pound winger finished out the remainder of this past season with HC Ambrì-Piotta in Switzerland, where he led the National League in scoring with 57 points (25 goals, 32 assists) in 50 games.
