Rozy is back.
The Chicago Blackhawks have activated defenseman Michal Rozsival off the long-term injured reserve and reassigned Erik Gustafsson to the Rockford IceHogs, the team announced Friday. Gustafsson's move back to the AHL frees up the roster spot for Rozsival, who is returning from the broken leg he suffered during the 2015 postseason.
Rozsival, 37, looks likely to play Saturday when the Blackhawks take on the St. Louis Blues. His return signals a shuffling of Chicago's blue line that will see further changes when Duncan Keith returns from knee surgery.
