Former Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Chris Chelios will serve as an assistant coach for the United States hockey team at the 2018 Winter Olympics, USA Hockey announced Friday.
Tony Granato, who is Wisconsin’s head coach, will be the U.S.’ head coach in PyeongChang, South Korea. Granto is also the brother of Blackhawks assistant coach Don Granto.
