The Blachkawks closed out a two-game series with the Hurricanes on Thursday night at the United Center, with a last-minute goal by Carolina leading to a 4-3 Chicago loss.
After a sluggish start for both teams, Carolina opened the scoring with Vincent Trocheck’s first-period goal scored from the left-wing circle.
Vincent Trocheck extended his point streak to eight games (five goals, five assists) with a wrist shot from the left face-off circle.
