ST. LOUIS – Artemi Panarin scored the overtime winner and Corey Crawford stopped 27 of 28 shots as the Blackhawks beat the St. Louis Blues 2-1 on Wednesday night.
The Blackhawks have now won seven in a row and eight of their last nine. Marian Hossa scored his seventh goal of the season.
Alex Pietrangelo’s long shot got through to tie the game 1-1 with 2:11 remaining in regulation. The Blackhawks challenged for goaltender interference – Jori Lehtera was in front of Crawford – but the goal was ruled good. The Blackhawks had a power play carry over into overtime.
