Andrew Desjardins was the Blackhawks’ unsung pickup at the trade deadline. Now he’s on board for another two years.
The Blackhawks reportedly signed Desjardins to a two-year deal on Friday morning. Elliotte Friedman of Hockey Night in Canada reported the deal carried a cap hit of $800,000 per season.
General manager Stan Bowman expressed the desire to bring Desjardins back when he talked of him on June 19.
