With the focus understandably on Zach Miller, as well as a defense that kept the Bears alive Sunday, we didn’t spend much time on Mitch Trubisky’s afternoon, aside from pointing out his accuracy issues (14-of-32).
But there are two important parts of his game to dissect.
Trubisky found a positive connection with Tre McBride, who had three catches for 92 yards. On Monday, McBride talked about how it took time to develop a rapport with Trubisky after joining the team prior to Week 1, then getting cut and rejoining for Week 4. The comfort is getting there.
