Alexandre Fortin returns to juniors excited for future with Blackhawks

There is no pausing or stopping for Alexandre Fortin.

Once Fortin learned the Chicago Blackhawks were assigning him to his QMJHL team, the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, he quickly began making plans to get back there. He flew from Chicago to Montreal and then Montreal to from Rouyn-Noranda on Monday. On Tuesday morning, he was back on the ice with his junior teammates. He’ll play in their next game on Friday.

Fortin is riding an incredible wave and wants to keep it going. After going undrafted in June, he turned a prospect camp invitation from the Blackhawks into a three-year entry-level contract and an extended stay in the preseason.
