Adam Boqvist looks to help London Knights finish atop OHL’s Western Conference

It wasn’t his performance that was lacking, mind you. He literally wasn’t on the ice after being made a late scratch due to the flu.

The London Knights sure could have used him in the 5-1 loss to the Storm. The Knights went 0-for-7 on the power play despite having a run of five consecutive opportunities, including a lengthy 5-on-3.

Boqvist is expected to be back in the lineup for London’s final two regular-season games, and should top the 60-point mark if indeed he does.

Last week, I wrote about how Boqvist’s defensive issues might keep in the Ontario Hockey League next season, but don’t let that take away from how good the young Swede has been offensively this season.
