Blackhawks prospect Kirby Dach suffered a shoulder injury in the first period against the Wild during the seventh-place game Tuesday at the NHL Prospect tournament in Traverse City, Michigan.
The injury occurred midway through the frame when Dach was chasing after a puck in the offensive zone and Darian Pilon boarded the No. 3 overall pick in this year’s draft. Dach was slow to get up, but skated off the ice under his own power favoring his left arm. After sitting on the bench for a brief moment, Dach walked to the locker room to be examined by a trainer.
