Blackhawks winger Patrick Kane will participate in two events during the NHL Skills Competition on Friday night at SAP Center in San Jose, California.
Kane will take part in the puck control challenge and as a shooter in the save streak competition. The NHL announced a full participants list for all six events Friday afternoon.
Chicagoland native Kendall Coyne-Schofield, a 2018 Olympic champion with the U.S. women’s national team, will replace Avalanche forward Nathan MacKinnon in the fastest skater event. She was originally scheduled to participate in the accuracy shooting.
The six events include accuracy shooting, fastest skater, hardest shot, passing challenge, puck control relay and save streak.
