Blackhawks forward prospect Philipp Kurashev was back on the ice Saturday morning at Fifth Third Arena. He skated with defenseman Calvin de Haan prior to the team’s second practice of training camp and later joined the team.
Kurashev missed Friday’s practice with a left knee injury and shoulder contusion. He sustained the injuries Tuesday after being boarded by Wild prospect Damien Giroux, who was ejected for the hit, in the seventh-place game against Minnesota at the NHL Prospect tournament in Traverse City, Michigan.
Kurashev, who turns 20 years old in October, skated in three AHL games last season after leading the Quebec Remparts in scoring with 65 points (29 goals, 36 assists) in 59 QMJHL games.
