Per Adam Jahns, former Giants WR Victor Cruz is visiting with the Bears Monday and Tuesday.
In his first season back from a knee injury that ended his 2014 season, Cruz finished 2016 with a 53.9 overall grade, the lowest of his career and lower than his rookie year where he did not record a reception.
Overshadowed by Odell Beckham Jr. and Sterling Shepherd last year, Cruz managed only 1.25 yards per route run (YPRR), ranking 72nd of 95 wide receivers with at least 45 targets.
In 2016, Cruz averaged 15 yards per reception, the second best tally of his career.
