Just one year ago defensive end Willie Young was trying to bounce back from a torn Achilles and trying to transition to a 3-4 OLB after playing his entire career as a 4-3 DE.
There was much talk that he could be traded or even cut.
Now, Young and the Bears have agreed to a two-year deal:
#Bears OLB Willie Young has agreed to a 2-year contract extension through 2018, source said. He was on the final year of his contract.

Young led the Bears in sacks in 2014 before his injury with 10 and was second on the team with 6.
