LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- The Chicago Bears (2-6) believe they’re peaking at the right time.
Fresh off their bye week, the Bears expect several starters (Josh Sitton, Kyle Long, Eddie Royal and Eddie Goldman) to possibly return from injury in time for Sunday’s game in Tampa (3-5).
Last year, Chicago defeated the Bucs 26-21 at Raymond James Stadium thanks to their opportunistic defense which forced three turnovers. Tampa quarterback Jameis Winston passed for 295 yards and two touchdowns, but he threw a costly interception to Bears safety Harold Jones-Quartey, who also forced a fumble in Chicago’s victory.
