Sure, they’ve found ways to get there that are just this side of unconventional, with an offense that still has shown mere spurts of rhythm in the midst of a quarterback change and a defense that has still been good but found another level when the Bears’ offense gave them a lead at halftime against Tom Brady’s Buccaneers.
But if anything, while it would have been nice for the offense to actually operate much more smoothly from the word “go,” that the Bears have stacked wins in all but one game operating like this is still a credit to Matt Nagy in getting his guys to play a full sixty minutes and never feel like they’re completely out of a game.
