A good soldier. A bulldozer of a running back. A man humble beyond his years. And a player at a position that isn’t a premium value.
Jordan Howard presents everything to the Bears’ backfield in the short term, but leaves a lot desired as a versatile tailback, or even purely a tailback alone. Following Instagram fervor and the draft moving on the horizon, Chicago still has time to move forward with a guy they might not deem perfect for their new offense. Which isn’t to say that Howard can’t play, because he can. Ultimately, it’s Matt Nagy’s decision, but the time for this situation’s resolution is ticking for 2018.
