Felt like it was my civic duty to give fans entering the Bears’ Schedule Prediction Challenge a few tips. So for those of you entering the contest, please keep these tidbits in mind:
(1) The Bears typically don't play at home on the same day as the Chicago Marathon, which is slated to be held on Sunday, Oct. 7. And they won’t play at Soldier Field on Thursday night, Oct. 4, because the stadium is hosting an Ed Sheeran concert.
(2) It also seems unlikely that the Bears will play at home on Sunday, Sept. 15 due to a college football game at Soldier Field the day before between Illinois and South Florida.
